All of our teachers at Blaydon Music Academy are professional working musicians who also have vast teaching experience ranging from primary and secondary school to sixth form and college.

This educational background allows us to offer lessons that are structured and crafted to each students abilities and ambitions.

Learning, of course, should be fun. That's why our lessons are delivered in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere so don't be surprised if your teacher is having as much fun as you!

Speaking of fun, all of our teachers are actively involved in the live music and entertainment industry. Gigs, theatre productions, social events, just ask your teacher when their next performance is and they'll be more than happy to divulge (and maybe get a few extra ticket sales!).

All of our teachers have an advanced DBS certificate so you can be sure that all children and other vulnerable groups will be learning in a safe environment.
